There are several ways to get wrinkles out of vinyl and precautions to take to prevent your vinyl material from wrinkling. Keep in mind that vinyl is very easy to wrinkle, and it’s not unusual for the material to crease.

The most important thing to remember is that vinyl is forgiving but it takes time to relax, so set aside a few days ahead of time so you can have the best-looking print for your event or show.

We highly recommend setting your vinyl banner outdoors in the sun or laying it flat on the ground. If the weather is not favorable, you can also set the banner up indoors. Simply keep the vinyl set up until you notice the wrinkles are going away. There is no specific time limit, but we recommend waiting a day or two, so make sure you keep checking on it to see if the wrinkles have disappeared.
